A Content Restoration Specialist plays a crucial role in responding swiftly to emergency disaster claims and restoration clean-up activities within designated areas. This position provides essential support to individuals affected by disasters, helping them regain a sense of normalcy. The work environment is dynamic, competitive, and constantly evolving. As a 24/7 emergency services provider, candidates must be prepared to work extended hours, participate in on-call rotations, and travel to various disaster sites across the country as needed. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform carpet and floor cleaning tasks
  • Conduct construction clean-up operations
  • Manage clean-up for fire, mold, biohazard, and water damage incidents
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • No prior experience is required, but a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential
  • Oversee the cleaning of contents both on-site and off-site
  • Inspect offsite storage units to ensure the safety and proper storage of contents
  • Maintain attention to detail while inventorying and assessing belongings
  • Safeguard and wrap items for storage and transportation
  • Document job processes thoroughly using mobile applications

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Valid driver's license with three or fewer points
  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Must pass an insurance industry background check, physical examination, and drug screening
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools such as hammers and saws
  • Exhibit a team-oriented mindset
  • Be motivated, organized, and maintain a positive demeanor
  • Ability to think critically and adapt to changing situations
  • Present a professional image and make a positive first impression on clients
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Thrive in high-pressure and fast-paced environments

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Ability to work in various positions including standing, sitting, walking, and climbing
  • Willingness to work in high or awkward locations and under varying weather conditions
  • Ability to handle fumes, airborne particles, and hazardous materials (safety training and equipment provided)
  • Safe operation of a company vehicle is required for travel to job sites

Education and Experience:

While prior experience and certifications in the insurance restoration field are advantageous, they are not mandatory. A strong work ethic and eagerness to learn are essential attributes.
