Job Overview

BKBM LONG ISLAND CITY LLC, a leader in the pet care industry, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Canine Care Specialist. This role is vital in ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for our furry guests. Comprehensive training will be provided for successful candidates, with both part-time morning and afternoon shifts available.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervision: Oversee the dogs in play areas, ensuring their safety and friendliness.
  • Cleaning Duties: Maintain cleanliness by promptly addressing any waste and ensuring a sanitary environment.
  • Dog Handling: Safely manage the fitting and removal of collars and harnesses.
  • Health Monitoring: Communicate any health or safety concerns regarding the dogs.
  • Feeding and Medication: Administer food and medications as required.
  • Meet and Greets: Conduct temperament assessments for new dogs entering the facility.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside team members to uphold our high standards of care.
