Integrated Mental Health Therapist II, III or Licensed Professional

Sea Mar Community Health Centers, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), is seeking a highly skilled Integrated Mental Health Therapist II, III or Licensed Professional to join our team. As a core member of the Clinical Care Team, you will work within a medical setting to provide diagnostic assessments, referrals for psychiatric services, and case management in coordination with other teams or parties involved in treatment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of chronic conditions, including substance use disorders and behavioral health concerns that contribute to a patient's inability to adequately address their medical needs. You will also have an understanding of chronic medical conditions that can lead to depression and other mental health concerns.
Responsibilities will include educating staff on the process for mental health service referrals and on psycho-educational topics, such as suicide risk assessment and behavior modification. You will also maintain documentation of mental health services and communicate effectively with the care team located in the medical clinic.
We are seeking a candidate who is bilingual in Spanish, Korean, Swahili, or Hindi, but it is not a requirement. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, counseling, or social work, with coursework in psychological diagnostics. A minimum of one to three years of experience in the field is required, with three or more years of experience preferred.
