Gain Valuable Experience in Audit and Tax

As an intern at Forvis, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in audit and tax, working alongside our senior staff and management personnel. You will be exposed to a variety of industries and will have the chance to develop your technical skills.

Our internships are available in audit, tax, or a combination of both, and can be part-time or full-time. You will work on client engagements, completing audit testing, working with client personnel, and participating in client meetings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Completing audit testing on financial statement accounts
  • Working with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data
  • Drafting management letter comments and the audit report
  • Participating in client meetings alongside Forvis partners and managers
Requirements:
  • Solid technical accounting knowledge
  • Effective time management
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work well with a team and independently
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Willingness to take initiative
  • Close attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and against deadlines
Eligibility:
  • Working toward an accounting degree
  • CPA exam eligibility
