GFEBS Budget Support Analyst II

This role necessitates that candidates are US Citizens, lawful resident aliens, or citizens of American Samoa or other territories with permanent allegiance to the United States.

In this position, you will deliver extensive support for Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP) to the Armed Forces Medical Examination Support Activity (AFMES), with a concentration on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) financial systems, particularly the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS). Your expertise will encompass various financial operations, including Funds Management, Spending Chain, Reimbursable Business Processes, Government Purchase Card assistance, Payroll, and more. You will be responsible for generating and tailoring reports, resolving issues, and acting as the GFEBS system administrator, providing technical support, training, and coordinating initiatives.

Key Responsibilities of the GFEBS Budget Support Analyst II:
  • Deliver SAP support to AFMES.
  • Concentrate on ERP financial systems, specifically GFEBS.
  • Specialize in financial operations such as Funds Management, Spending Chain, Reimbursable Business Processes, Government Purchase Card assistance, and Payroll.
  • Generate and customize reports in GFEBS, covering fund status, open commitments, obligations, and cost management.
  • Resolve issues in GFEBS, including interface monitor errors, IDOCS, and integration problems with DMLSS, SPS, and Access On-line.
  • Act as the GFEBS system administrator, including responsibilities related to Government, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
  • Provide technical support and oversee the progress of GFEBS initiatives.
  • Coordinate meetings as needed by the organization.
  • Assist in implementing new GFEBS functionalities, such as Project Systems/cProjects.
  • Deliver training, including creating job aids, for both individuals and groups.
  • Support users in creating Purchase Requisitions, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and reports in ERP and BI.
  • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications for the GFEBS Budget Support Analyst II:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and SAP systems, particularly GFEBS.
  • Thorough understanding of financial operations, including Funds Management, Spending Chain, Reimbursable Business Processes, Government Purchase Card assistance, and Payroll within GFEBS.
  • Proficient in generating and customizing reports in GFEBS, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in troubleshooting issues in GFEBS, including interface monitor errors, IDOCS, and integration problems with DMLSS, SPS, and Access On-line.
  • Prior experience as a GFEBS system administrator, including knowledge of Government, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Administration.
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to provide support to end-users.
  • Proven capability to coordinate and monitor GFEBS initiatives, as well as organize and facilitate meetings.
  • Familiarity with establishing new GFEBS functionalities, such as Project Systems/cProjects.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver effective training, including developing job aids, for both individuals and groups.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Knowledge of ERP and BI systems.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards relevant to the organization.
  • Ability to adapt to changing responsibilities and priorities in a dynamic work environment.
  • Must meet pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
