Job Summary

At Chatham Orthopaedic Associates, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our orthopaedic care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians and mid-level providers with patient evaluations and management, ensuring accurate and timely completion of patient records.
  • Prepare patients for exams and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Coordinate in-house MRIs, x-rays, therapy services, and DME services, ensuring seamless patient care.
  • Assess patient problems and provide appropriate management over the telephone, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient care documentation, ensuring compliance with office policies and procedures.
  • Restock exam rooms with medical supplies and paper products, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
  • Complete physician dispensing orders and patient care forms in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with office policies and procedures.
  • Fax patient records to other physician offices, hospitals, or outpatient facilities as requested, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Maintain current cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification, ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations.
