Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Memorial Health University Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a resource person for staff and model a commitment to the organization's vision, mission, and values.
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care.
  • Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit.
  • Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies.
  • Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and manage all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
  • Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Georgia.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a leadership or coordinator role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Knowledge of nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care.
