Position: Electrical Repair Technician
Compensation: $34-36/hr D.O.E.
Shift: 3rd Shift - 7p-7a / Rotating Schedule
Employment Type: Full Time, Direct Hire

Role Summary:PrideStaff is collaborating with a reputable manufacturing entity seeking skilled Electrical Repair Technicians. The primary responsibility of the Electrical Repair Technician involves diagnosing and rectifying motor control circuits, engaging with PLC programming, and executing preventive maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will possess substantial mechanical expertise, have experience in a manufacturing environment, and demonstrate proficiency in PLC Programming and Fanuc robotics.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and Repair Motor Control Circuits
- Install New Electrical Fixtures, Motors, Lighting, and Control Circuits
- Engage with PLC Programming and Troubleshoot Discrete Ladder Logic, Forces, Searching, and Timers
- Respond to and Manage Maintenance Requests
- Have a Fundamental Understanding of Fanuc Robotics
- Diagnose and Replace Variable Speed Drives, Temperature Controllers, and Chart Recorders
- Utilize Safety Electrical Testing Equipment such as Ammeters, Ticklers, and Voltmeters
- Diagnose and Repair Low Voltage Control Circuits and Three Phase Motor Circuits up to 480 Volts
- Conduct Preventive Maintenance on Equipment and Assist with New Installations
- Support Other Duties as Required
- Adhere to All PPE and Safety Protocols
- High School Diploma Required
- Preferred: 2+ Years of Experience as an Industrial Electrician or Multi-Craft Technician
- Required: Knowledge of 3 Phase Electrical Circuits, Motor Control Circuits, and PLC Programming
- Required Certifications: Forklift, Aerial Lift, Confined Spaces, Crane, Fall Protection, Hot Work, Lock-Out/Tag-Out, and Pallet Jack
- Required: Knowledge of PLC, Variable Frequency Drives, and NFPA 70E
- Required: Strong Math Skills and Experience in Blueprint Reading
- Must be Capable of Lifting 50+ lbs as Necessary
- Required: Familiarity with HMI Programs, RSLogix 500, and RSLogix 5000 Programming Software
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Must be 18 Years or Older
- Willingness to Undergo a Pre-Employment Background Check
- Willingness to Submit to a Drug Screening
- Ability to Provide Proof of Eligibility to Work in the U.S.
