About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our Operations Maintenance team at C&W Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our assembly, material handling equipment, and pneumatic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including conveyor systems, motors, and pneumatics.
  • Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to material handling equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Document maintenance activities and track inventory.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls (PLC experience a plus).
  • 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment.
  • 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative industrial maintenance procedures.
  • 1+ years of metal and wood fabrication.
  • 1+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading.
  • 1+ year of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles (multimeter usage, 480, 3 phase).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
  • 2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
  • Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Experience with robotic operation and maintenance.
  • Able to troubleshoot basic input and output functions.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to quickly bend, stretch, twist, or reach out.
  • Substantial lifting (up to 50 pounds) is required.
  • Ability to perform tasks wearing a mask, face shield, and composite toed boots.
  • Regularly required to crouch and reach to install/move equipment.
  • Ability to perform tasks wearing a mask, face shield, and composite toed boots.
  • Work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures.
