  • Operational Execution
    • Manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and staff supervision.

    • Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Food and Beverage Execution
    • Oversee the preparation and presentation of high-quality food and beverages, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish.
    • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment and storage areas.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve food quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction.
  • Team Member Relations
    • Coach, mentor, and develop kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
    • Provide feedback and guidance to kitchen staff on performance, attendance, and behavior.
    • Make recommendations for promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions, as needed.
  • Service Execution and Guest Relations
    • Ensure that all kitchen staff provide exceptional service to guests, meeting or exceeding BJ's standards for quality, speed, and friendliness.
    • Manage guest relations and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of full-service, high-volume, casual dining restaurant management experience.
  • High personal integrity, professionalism, and maturity.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong relationship management and performance management skills.
  • Ability to motivate and direct kitchen staff and work effectively in a management team.
  • Strong understanding of BJ's goals and objectives.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional guest service orientation.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
