- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment and storage areas.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve food quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction.
- Team Member Relations
- Coach, mentor, and develop kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
- Provide feedback and guidance to kitchen staff on performance, attendance, and behavior.
- Make recommendations for promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions, as needed.
- Service Execution and Guest Relations
- Ensure that all kitchen staff provide exceptional service to guests, meeting or exceeding BJ's standards for quality, speed, and friendliness.
- Manage guest relations and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- A minimum of 2 years of full-service, high-volume, casual dining restaurant management experience.
- High personal integrity, professionalism, and maturity.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong relationship management and performance management skills.
- Ability to motivate and direct kitchen staff and work effectively in a management team.
- Strong understanding of BJ's goals and objectives.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional guest service orientation.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English.
