Job Overview

The Electrical Foreman is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing electrical work and directing the installation, maintenance, and repair of various electrical components within customer locations.

This individual will work with both low and high voltage electrical applications, serving a wide range of industries, including Construction, Manufacturing, Power Plants, Commercial, Aggregate, Oil and Gas, Coal, and Wind Energy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and direct day-to-day electrical work to ensure timely completion of smaller, less complex projects and assignments.
  • Coordinate with management to ensure jobs meet code requirements, customer needs, and expectations.
  • Lead teams in installing and testing new equipment, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial facilities, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical issues, systems, and components with minimal direction and supervision.
  • Read, follow, and mark up electrical code, manuals, wiring and circuitry diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and other electrical specifications.
  • Provide detailed paperwork and documentation to ensure accurate record keeping, billing, and inventory.
  • Train and mentor personnel as required, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
Requirements
  • 5 years of electrical experience or equivalent/relevant education preferred.
  • Experience in Industrial Electrical required.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Current New Mexico or Colorado Master's or Journeyman's License, New Mexico is preferred.
  • Knowledge of NEC, electrical theory, and circuits.
  • Leadership and customer service skills.
Working Conditions
  • Walk, crawl, or kneel / use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls / reach with hands and arms / climb ladders, stairs, or other elevated/fixed structures for extended periods.
  • Sit/stand for extended periods.
  • Lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
  • Perform duties on-site and underground at industrial locations.
  • Wear safety equipment as per OSHA/MSHA/ANSI requirements, including steel-toed and/or metatarsal shoes, hard hat, required PPE for elevated work, fire retardant clothing, protective eye wear, etc.
  • Be safety and customer-focused, without exception.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications

This position requires the completion of a thorough background and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.

In accordance with The Company's Drug and Alcohol policy, employees are required to participate in random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing as requested.
