Key Responsibilities
  • Confidentiality: Uphold the confidentiality of patient information at all times.
  • Record Maintenance: Ensure clinical records are accurate and up-to-date, adhering to relevant regulations.
  • Effective Communication: Engage professionally with patients, families, and staff over the phone.
  • Call Management: Handle incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel or taking messages as necessary.
  • Guest Reception: Welcome and assist visitors to the office.
  • Mail Coordination: Manage all incoming, outgoing, and interoffice mail efficiently.
  • Administrative Support: Provide typing, faxing, and copying services as requested by staff.
  • Data Entry: Input billing-related data into the computer system accurately.
  • Supply Management: Order and keep track of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Staff Communication: Inform staff of updates regarding admissions, discharges, and clinical meetings as directed.
  • Data Tracking: Monitor and record important dates related to patient admissions and discharges.
  • Audit Assistance: Support audits of patient information as required.
