We are seeking a Merchandise Strategy Lead to become a vital part of a leading entertainment organization. This role will be a hybrid position, combining in-office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate comprehensive product strategies across various categories to align with the company's objectives, including significant new projects and other domestic offerings.
  • Possess an in-depth understanding of product requirements, consumer demographics, and market dynamics to shape effective strategies.
  • Collaborate with Planning and Location Strategy teams to facilitate quarterly kickoff and review sessions with Product Development teams.
  • Manage relationships with site-specific Commercial and Marketing teams to leverage site initiatives and enhance merchandise commercialization.
  • Engage with Corporate Alliances and Operating Participants to elevate the value of the Park.
  • Partner with the Franchise team to devise strategies that bolster key franchise and alliance projects.
  • Conduct ongoing evaluations of performance metrics and trends to refine business outcomes and inform future strategies.
  • Establish strong connections with cross-functional partners to ensure seamless communication and collaboration throughout the product development process.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Merchandise or a data-driven role.
  • Background in Merchandising/Planning within a specialized retail environment.
  • Experience collaborating with various stakeholders in commercial, marketing, planning, purchasing, and visual merchandising.
  • Proven ability to drive revenue while upholding brand standards.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of executing against financial objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to influence a diverse audience, including external partners and business owners.
  • Ability to foster and maintain partnerships across different functions and departments.
  • Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
  • Demonstrated capacity for innovative thinking to introduce fresh insights into the business.
