About the Lead Financial Strategist Role

The Lead Financial Strategist will assess, analyze, and track financial and operational metrics from diverse sources to support the achievement of strategic goals. Working in close partnership with Finance, Accounting, and Business leadership, the Lead Strategist will develop financial models, generate forecasts, and perform research and analysis tailored to business requirements. Proficiency in various financial functions such as planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting is essential. Key Responsibilities of the Lead Financial Strategist
  • Manage company-wide and divisional forecasting processes
  • Conduct monthly budget-to-actual and forecast-to-actual analyses, along with reporting key metrics and KPIs to support organizational objectives
  • Compile cost reports, operational analyses, and profitability models for various business units and product lines
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to assess the performance of key sales metrics and enhance forecasting accuracy based on customer pipeline insights
  • Engage with operational leaders to evaluate project implementation and ongoing costs to refine project profitability assessments
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify and implement best practices that yield valuable insights and analyses
  • Assist in the formulation and review of CAPEX and project budgets
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of operational models
Qualifications for the Lead Financial Strategist
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related analytical field
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience managing a three-statement financial model and cash flow projections, with a preference for 4-6 years in corporate FP&A or a similar capacity
  • Familiarity with GAAP principles and accounting standards
  • Ability to communicate financial information effectively to a non-financial audience
