Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Frye Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop health plans in collaboration with healthcare providers.
  • Perform routine clinical and administrative duties, including vital sign collection, medication administration, and lab testing.
  • Prepare equipment and assist physicians with medical treatments, exams, and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to established charting policies.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
  • Comply with established protocols for personal protective equipment and infection control.
  • Arrange for specialized consultations and appointments as ordered by healthcare providers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering phones, and directing calls to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic Life Support certification required.
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program required.
  • Current credentialing (certification/registration) with a recognized medical assisting organization.
