Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Frye Regional Medical Center. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting and processing blood specimens for testing in our laboratory. You will also maintain supply inventory in collection areas and phlebotomy trays, and assist lab staff with non-testing essential functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Labels, processes, and delivers specimens for testing.
  • Collects blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques.
  • Maintains equipment and medical supplies.
  • Assists with coordinating and conducting blood drives, including interviewing and screening donors.

Requirements
  • High School Graduate Required
  • Completion of a certified phlebotomy training program preferred
  • Previous hospital experience preferred
  • ASPT or ASCP certification preferred
  • 1 month phlebotomy experience preferred
