Role Summary

We are in search of a Billing Specialist who will play a vital role in the ongoing success of our expanding organization. This position is well-suited for an individual who thrives in managing a substantial volume of billing tasks. Success in this role requires meticulous attention to detail and outstanding organizational capabilities. You will collaborate closely with the Accounting and Operations teams to investigate and resolve any account discrepancies while providing necessary documentation as requested by clients. Additional accounting responsibilities may arise based on the team's requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high volume of accounts receivable invoices, ensuring alignment with contractual agreements.
  • Investigate customer payment discrepancies and liaise with clients to achieve resolution.
  • Process customer cash receipts and accurately record deposits within the accounting system.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and engage with customers to collect overdue invoices.
  • Assist with time card management and the entry of credit card transactions.
  • Support various clerical tasks including scanning, filing, and data entry.
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in billing is advantageous.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly with a strong command of Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain high efficiency while ensuring accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
