We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN-Administrative Supervisor to join our team at SSM Health. As a key member of our nursing administration team, you will be responsible for coordinating daily operations and ensuring the implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care for assigned ministries.
Responsibilities- Assigns, directs, educates, and monitors nursing and support staff during assigned shifts.
- Serves as a resource to the staff and contributes to performance evaluations.
- Manages patient flow within assigned areas and provides support and coordination for patient emergencies.
- Opens and leads incident command for internal or external disasters until relieved by assigned administrative representatives.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of patient care and identifies any issues that affect desired patient outcomes.
- Responds to complaints about patient care and manages through established channels.
- May provide input for hiring, training, directing, developing, and evaluating staff.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
- Two years' registered nurse experience with demonstrated progressive leadership responsibility.
This role requires constant use of speech, standing, and walking, as well as frequent lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs. Occasional lifting/moving of patients and occasional driving are also required.
