This role will be responsible for coordinating daily operations with the leadership team to ensure the implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care for assigned ministries.
Key Responsibilities:- Assigns, directs, educates, and monitors nursing and support staff during assigned shifts.
- Serves as a resource to the staff and provides support and coordination for patient emergencies.
- Manages patient flow within assigned areas and evaluates the effectiveness of patient care.
- Responds to complaints about patient care and manages through established channels.
- May provide input for hiring, training, directing, developing, and evaluating staff.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
- Two years' registered nurse experience with demonstrated progressive leadership responsibility.
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA) certification.
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) or equivalent certification from another state.
