Position Summary

We are in search of a skilled Project Manager for a part-time engagement, tasked with leading a critical initiative.

Project Context:
Our client, a prominent American financial institution, has embarked on a program to modernize their core banking infrastructure and improve their data architecture by establishing an Enterprise Data Warehouse. They are currently developing a data governance framework for unstructured data utilizing Microsoft Purview, while also initiating the design of a framework for structured data and evaluating suitable tools for this purpose.

Team Composition:
The project team will consist of three professionals:
- 1 Business Data Analyst
- 1 Senior Data Governance Specialist
- 1 Project Manager/Banking Subject Matter Expert

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitating and coordinating meetings and approvals with the client
  • Managing resource allocation and project timelines
  • Building relationships with the client's business and project teams
  • Providing expertise on US banking regulations relevant to the project
  • Collaborating with business and data teams to ensure alignment of the new framework with existing regulations
Qualifications

Applicants should possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including:

  • In-depth knowledge of US regulations such as FFIEC, NY DFS 500, PCI DSS, CFPB, and OCC
  • Experience in data-related projects
  • Background in the US banking sector
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities
