Duties:
  • Execute tasks related to the labeling, inspection, and packaging of pharmaceutical products. Operate packaging machinery to meet production targets efficiently. Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely achievement of production objectives.
  • Operate diverse packaging machinery (e.g., labelers, pick and place systems, heat tunnels, vision systems, forklifts).

Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Perform equipment changeovers and setups as necessary.
  • Troubleshoot initial issues with packaging machinery (e.g., labelers, pick and place systems, heat tunnels).
  • Adhere to cGMP documentation requirements for accuracy and completeness.
  • Understand and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Prepare Quality Assurance line clearances for production lines.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
  • Ensure maintenance of facilities and equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Engage in cross-training within the department to meet operational needs.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisory personnel.

Communication:
  • Relay processing requirements to team members.
  • Update shift leaders and supervisors on progress throughout the shift.
  • Report any process-related events to shift leaders and supervisors promptly.
  • Communicate daily facility and inventory needs.

Assessment:
  • Monitor processes against manufacturing records and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Participate in daily performance reviews with the team.

Systems:
  • Complete batch tickets documenting materials used during production.
  • Provide feedback on proposed improvements to processes.
  • Follow established process sequences diligently.
  • Demonstrate commitment to health, safety, and environmental programs by working safely and responsibly.

Skills:
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills and a focus on quality.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting equipment and processes.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Basic math and computer skills.

Preferred: 5+ years of relevant experience.

Education:
  • High School diploma required; Associate's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Overnight shifts
  • Weekends as needed
