Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at East Bay Machine & Sheet Metal in Concord, CA. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling components using hand tools, reviewing completed components for defects, and applying bar-code labels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize inventory and assemble components using hand tools
  • Review completed components for defects and apply bar-code labels
  • Palletize completed products for shipment
  • Assemble a variety of steel cabinets by installing drawer slides, shelves, locks, and related hardware
  • Mount hinged doors and assemble components quickly and accurately

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar production assembly environment
  • Demonstrated work history using hand tools
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds

East Bay Machine & Sheet Metal is a contract manufacturer supplying components to the automotive, industrial, and food and beverage industries. We offer competitive pay, healthcare and retirement plan benefits, as well as holiday and vacation pay. Our facility operates on a Monday - Thursday schedule (5am - 3:30pm) with overtime on most Fridays.
