Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse - Neonatal Transport

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse - Neonatal Transport to join our team at Sunrise Hospital. As a member of our transport team, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of our patients and their families.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse - Neonatal Transport, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care during inter-hospital transports. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop individualized plans of care for each patient, ensuring that they receive the best possible care during their transport.

Responsibilities
  • Provide total patient care during inter-hospital transports
  • Facilitate the transfer of patients and complete all transport shifts as assigned
  • Maintain a willingness to participate in outreach activities on behalf of the department/hospital
  • Perform delegated medical functions within the parameters of the Nurse Practice Act, policies and procedures, and protocols
  • Collaborate with the Physician and referral staff to develop individualized plans of care for patients
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in pediatric critical care or neonatal critical care, with a minimum of five years of experience as an RN. You will also need to have specialty certification, such as CFRN, CTRN, CCRN, RNC, CEN, CPEN, or other certification related to pediatric, neonatal, and/or transport critical care. Additionally, you will need to obtain C-NPT certification within one year of hire and maintain it independently while employed on the transport team.
