We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Transport Nurse to join our team at Sunrise Hospital. As a Registered Nurse - Neonatal - Transport, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care during inter-hospital transports.
Key Responsibilities- Provide total patient care during inter-hospital transports, prioritizing the individual needs of each patient.
- Facilitate the transfer of patients and complete all transport shifts as assigned, while maintaining a willingness to participate in outreach activities on behalf of the department/hospital.
- Perform delegated medical functions within the parameters of the Nurse Practice Act, policies, and procedures, and protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and referral staff to develop an individualized plan of care for each patient.
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
- Minimum of five (5) years as an RN with three (3) years of full-time pediatric critical care or neonatal critical care experience as an RN required.
- Specialty certification required to the transport team (such as CFRN, CTRN, CCRN, RNC, CEN, CPEN, or other certification related to pediatric, neonatal, and/or transport critical care).
- C-NPT certification required within one (1) year of hire and independently maintained while employed on the transport team.
