About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant General Manager to join our team at Chicken Salad Chick. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional results through others, providing an engaging environment for restaurant teams and guests, and focusing on operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a Brand Ambassador: Represent Chicken Salad Chick in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure that all products are consistently prepared and served according to CSC standards, and that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition.
  • Leadership and Development: Develop, plan, and implement restaurant marketing, advertising, and promotional activities, and create a positive, productive working environment that fosters growth and development among team members.
  • Financial Management: Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures, and create and maintain schedules for team members.
  • Employee Relations: Make employment and termination decisions consistent with Restaurant Management guidelines, and oversee and ensure that employee performance appraisals are completed on a timely basis.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Physical Demands: Exert up to 40 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, and be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility, including bending and stooping, for the duration of the workday.
Behavior Characteristics
  • Leadership: Allocate at least two hours per week to planning, and focus on systematically and effectively communicating all Kitchen related goals and success factors to Team Members.
  • Communication: Combine critical thinking and practical leadership to create a culture of innovation, and effectively coach and give direction.
  • Relationship Building: Intentionally and methodically grow and nurture relationships with the staff, and be able to connect with a multicultural team.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Organization: Excellent organization skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to multitask and quickly learn and master new computer software.
