At UniFirst, we are on the lookout for a dependable and diligent Production Team Partner to become a vital part of our family. In the Pre-Tunnel Inspection Department, you will collaborate with a team to guarantee quality assurance for our clients by examining garments as they are processed through our steam tunnel. We maintain a 5-day work week, with weekends off, and provide immediate openings along with comprehensive on-the-job training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Count and organize garments
  • Prepare garments for processing through the steam tunnel
  • Conduct visual inspections for tears, holes, stains, and damages
  • Ensure all garments meet the UniFirst 20-point uniform inspection criteria
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, HACCP, and medical guidelines.

Perform additional tasks as assigned by the area supervisor or management.


Qualifications:

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift
  • Effective reading, writing, and communication skills with management
  • Basic mathematical skills using American standard units for weight, measurement, volume, and distance
  • Capability to lift up to 10 lbs. and push up to 25 lbs.
