At AdventHealth, we're committed to providing exceptional care to our patients and their families. As a Pediatric Critical Care Respiratory Specialist, you'll play a vital role in our team's mission to deliver high-quality care to critically ill neonates and pediatric patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency care for acutely ill neonatal and pediatric patients in collaboration with the Medical team for the receiving neonatal or pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
- Offer family-centered care, including psychosocial support, education, and transfer planning in conjunction with referral staff.
- Maintain effective communication with referral staff and families.
- Participate in educating staff from referring facilities through informal teaching and planned educational classes and/or conferences.
Requirements:
- Minimum of one year of pediatric critical care experience.
- Current valid State of Florida license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
