Position Overview:

  • Utilize EPA-approved aquatic herbicides and algaecides for effective management
  • Set up and oversee aeration systems, fountains, and compressed air installations
  • Conduct thorough surveys of aquatic vegetation
  • Assist in the development of vegetation management strategies
  • Engage in fish population assessments
  • Compile and manage fish survey documentation
  • Handle data entry responsibilities
  • Ensure maintenance of vehicles, boats, tools, and surrounding areas

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving history
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening
  • Comfortable operating truck and boat trailer combinations
  • Basic mechanical knowledge; experience with outboard motors is advantageous
  • Ability to perform outdoor physical labor
  • Willingness to work 50-60 hours weekly
  • Capacity to lift items weighing over 50 lbs
