Senior Laser Technology Manufacturing Engineer

FormFactor, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Laser Technology Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Livermore, CA. As a key member of our manufacturing engineering team, you will be responsible for leading edge laser drilling equipment, product process development, and driving capacity/capability solution paths.
Key Responsibilities:- Partner with current process owners to learn existing process recipe management system and automate manual processes
- Provide manufacturing files and instructions for new designs to ensure manufacturing readiness
- Establish quality controls, yield tracking, and tool health management to ensure laser drilling process capability
- Develop solutions for drilling within extremely tight tolerances and shape of guide plates
- Drive coordination to set up maintenance of laser systems for drilling based on Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
- BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering + 5-7 years of experience in Semiconductor or equivalent technology equipment engineering
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills as related to manufacturing issues
- Able to work with limited supervision, self-directed, and methodical approach to solving technical problems
- Familiarity with mechanical machined parts, CAD component & assembly drawings
- Able to use hierarchy BOM structure to determine parts required for equipment repair or upgrades
- Solid computer skills on a variety of Windows versions or equipment interfaces
- Software experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint; Excel Macros, AutoCAD (JMP & MySQL are a plus)
- Occasionally sitting, standing, and working in a clean room environment for prolonged periods of time - up to 8 hours or more per day
- Office environment
- Able to work extended hours, including weekends, based on business requirements
- Able to work in a cleanroom environment per semiconductor protocol/requirements
FormFactor offers a competitive salary range of $136,200 to $178,815, depending on location. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, EAP, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, flexible spending and savings accounts, 401(k), ESPP, and paid time off.
