Armed Security Professional

As a Security Officer at Ascension, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our patients, visitors, and staff. Your duties will include monitoring security cameras, fire systems, and secure doors, as well as performing mobile and foot patrols both internally and externally. You will also be responsible for identifying visitors and/or suspicious people and asking for appropriate identification.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of associates, visitors, and other persons

Perform mobile and foot patrols both internally and externally

Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid security certification or training preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
