Job Summary

This position supports the day-to-day operations of the terminal by performing a variety of administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and sort incoming mail and paperwork
  • Verify driver paperwork for each load
  • Enter information into dispatch and customer systems as necessary
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues
  • Generate invoices for customers
  • Scan invoices to customers for payment
  • Generate daily reports for customers
  • Load counts for customers
  • Send reports to customers weekly along with backup documents
  • Enter and send payroll weekly
  • Manage employee vacation time
  • Print out logs for drivers that need updated and return to corporate
  • Schedule appointments for drivers (physicals, drug tests & renewals)
  • Assist with vendor invoices and emails
  • Check and order uniforms weekly
  • Filing, copying, and scanning documents
  • Expense reports and Per Diem
  • Manage the office when the Terminal Manager is out
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 4 years of transportation or office experience
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
