Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Clare Opco LLC. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading a team of clinical staff members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans for residents.
- Assess and document resident conditions and nursing needs.
- Implement physicians' orders accurately and promptly.
- Assign nursing care to team members based on resident needs and staff capabilities.
- Supervise, direct, and evaluate LPNs, LVNs, and CNAs.
- Administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments for assigned residents.
- Participate in orientation and in-service training for personnel.
- Assist physicians with special tests and procedures within the scope of state specified Nursing Practice Act.
- Ensure supplies are utilized economically and equipment is clean and maintained in a safe manner.
- Report and record pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents.
- Coordinate nursing care of residents when scheduled for therapy or procedures by other departments.
- Interview applicants and recommend hires. Participate in counseling, disciplinary action, and termination of staff, to extent permitted by state practice act.
- Supervise nursing unit, which includes scheduling and directing the nursing staff to extent permitted by state practice act.
Requirements:
- Graduate of accredited RN School of Nursing.
- Valid RN license in the state employed.
- Valid CPR certification.
- One year of nursing experience preferred.
