About the Role

Gersh Autism is seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing speech therapy support to children ages 5-21.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with other disciplines and services to provide comprehensive support to students with autism.
  • Independently review outcomes and modify intervention programs to ensure optimal results.
  • Utilize clinical reasoning and professional judgment to develop and implement effective therapeutic interventions.
  • Provide support to families and collaborate with other disciplines as needed to address goals and objectives.
  • Conduct evaluations and progress reports to track student progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Consult and collaborate with parents, schoolteachers, and fellow colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to student support.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders.
  • TSSLD certification preferred.
  • PROMPT Experience preferred.
Working Conditions

This is a part-time position, Monday – Friday / 8:00am – 4:00pm, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed based on school events.
