Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Conduct reconciliations of bank and credit card statements alongside other financial documentation.
  • Prepare and record journal entries pertaining to income, expenditures, and necessary adjustments.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Ensure meticulous maintenance of financial transaction records while adhering to accounting principles.
  • Work closely with the finance team to interpret financial data and recognize patterns.
  • Aid in audit processes by providing required documentation.
  • Contribute to the creation of financial reports and presentations.
  • Address vendor inquiries and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Engage in initiatives aimed at improving processes for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in accounting or finance, ideally within the food and beverage industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or equivalent platforms.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Capacity to work autonomously and adhere to deadlines.

Compensation: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
