Reports To: General Manager

Salary: $74,000-$78,000

The Front of House Manager will focus on innovative hospitality and creating the cafe experience in our Sapience Cafe to support operational excellence. This position reports into the General Manager and will leverage their strong hospitality and operational skills to oversee the daily administrative and operational tasks, including financial management and analysis, sanitation and safety.

The role will be based in Seattle, WA.

The Great Things You'll Do:

  • Hires, supervises, trains, and coaches associates.
  • Promotes a culture of Food and Workplace Safety
  • Plans, markets and executes special events/promotions in the cafe
  • Ensures compliance with proper sanitation and cleaning standards
  • Operates within the budget and identifies new ways to improve the business
  • Manages cafe operations, assists in Culinary and Catering operations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Ensures all sector and Compass employee guidelines are implemented and adhered to

What We Look For In The Perfect Candidate:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • At least 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations
  • Operational knowledge of financial planning and food service equipment
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet
  • ServSafe is required
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Manages time effectively and prioritizes tasks to meet deadlines
  • Strong passion for great food and hospitality
