**Job Summary**

Acadia Healthcare is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Health Associate to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals with mental health needs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide personal care services to patients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Engage patients in activities and interactions designed to promote treatment goals and improve behavioral outcomes.
  • Respond to distressed patients in a non-threatening manner, using de-escalation techniques to resolve conflicts.
  • Participate in rehabilitation and treatment programs, teaching strategies to promote patient wellness and independence.
  • Monitor patient progress, reporting changes and responses to treatment to the healthcare team.

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One or more years' experience working with individuals with mental health needs preferred.
  • CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
  • First aid certification may be required based on state or facility requirements.
