JOB SUMMARY:
In the role of Principal, you will be tasked with the administration and oversight of a school environment and its educational programs. Your focus will be on being the instructional leader, promoting mutual respect, setting high standards for both staff and students, and ensuring the overall achievement of the school.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Design and sustain an effective educational program in accordance with State and Federal regulations
  • Act as the instructional leader and collaborate with directors on program-related issues
  • Plan and manage school activities with attention to specific requirements
  • Assess staff performance and lead staff development initiatives
  • Keep precise records of financial activities and school documentation
  • Establish efficient communication pathways with stakeholders
  • Encourage diversity and inclusion through M/WBE Program initiatives
  • Ensure adherence to M/WBE Program policies and objectives
  • Engage in goal-setting processes and related responsibilities as necessary

JOB SPECIFICATIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge of school administration practices, exceptional communication skills, and strong leadership capabilities. The position involves light physical tasks and the ability to communicate effectively.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Qualified applicants should hold a Postgraduate Professional License with endorsements in administration and supervision for preK-12. A solid understanding of educational principles, curriculum practices, and public school administration is crucial. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are also essential.
