Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Development Manager to join our team at Ichor Systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing the development and production of our products, ensuring that they meet the highest quality and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the development and production of new products, from concept to launch
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design, test, and validate new products
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth production and delivery of products
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Work closely with R&D engineers to transfer new products to production lines and ensure manufacturability
  • Conceive and develop solutions to meet objectives of volume manufacturing
  • Ensure all objectives regarding aesthetics, functionality, specifications, and manufacturability are met
  • Recommend design approaches and solutions to technical problems affecting factories/suppliers
  • Coordinate with various engineering departments to resolve assembly, design, and measurement and/or specification issues
  • Support technical-based processes on projects such as APQP, DFMEA, and PFMEA reviews
  • Investigate new methods of manufacturing or technology to improve current processes, increase capacity, and throughput
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a contract manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of contract manufacturing environment and Bill of Material management
  • Proven record of managing and driving continuous process improvement activities
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to identify root cause for action/resolution
