We are seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer to lead large-scale transportation projects from concept to completion. Responsibilities- Lead the design process for design-build projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget alignment, and adherence to corporate quality standards.
- Oversee and manage project teams, including subconsultants, throughout all project phases.

- Participate in business development efforts by supporting marketing strategies and identifying new opportunities.
- Prepare and present technical proposals, including alternative concepts and solutions.
- Serve as the key point of contact for project communications, coordination, and problem-solving.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors and other project stakeholders.
- Play a pivotal role in shaping and driving project success, from initial planning to final close-out.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture required.
- State of Pennsylvania P.E. license or R.A. required.
- A minimum of 10+ years' experience in engineering design management for civil rail and transit or transportation structures projects.
- Proven leadership and project management skills, with a track record of delivering successful multidisciplinary design projects.
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Knowledge of CPM scheduling, earned value analysis, and risk management strategies.
- Experience with design contract commercial/legal terms and conditions.
- Ability to co-locate in a project office within the State when required.
- DBIA and/or PMP certifications (preferred but not required).
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve challenging problems.
- Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.
- High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.
- Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence.
