Key Responsibilities:

The incumbent will act as the initial point of contact for patients visiting the ambulatory clinics. This role involves performing essential clerical and reception tasks, entering patient information into the registration system, and confirming insurance and/or third-party coverage. The individual will also manage the scheduling, confirmation, and cancellation of patient appointments while employing a collaborative approach to patient care services.

  • Successful completion of a standardized assessment.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Familiarity with insurance programs and government initiatives.
  • Experience with TDS, Signature, and IDX systems.
  • Background in registration, scheduling, or authorization processes.
  • Experience in a hospital or medical office environment.
  • All final candidates must successfully complete an FBI fingerprinting process in compliance with the University's cash handling policy.
