About the Role

The Premium Server is a key member of our team, responsible for delivering exceptional guest service in our high-end environments. As a Premium Server, you will work closely with our team to ensure that every guest has a memorable experience.

Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Acquaint guests with menu items, promote food and beverage specials, and use suggestive selling techniques to upsell items when applicable.
  • Alcoholic Beverage Service: Verify proper I.D. for all alcoholic beverage transactions and responsibly serve all patrons in accordance with Pennsylvania's RAMP standards.
  • Food Quality: Ensure all food and beverage meet quality standards.
  • Food Delivery: Deliver food and drinks to the correct tables in a timely manner.
  • Menu Knowledge: Possess knowledge of the food and drink menu and provide detailed descriptions of delivered food products when needed.
  • Team Support: Support the service staff by clearing/cleaning tables and running food.
  • Teamwork: Work as a team with fellow associates and other service departments within the venue.
  • Point of Sale: Use the POS system (Appetize) to run tabs and process payments.
  • Personal Service: Operate with a focus on personal service and attention to detail to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Opening and Closing Duties: Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned by Supervisors and Managers.
  • Flexibility: Show flexibility by rotating to other service locations when necessary.
Qualifications
  • Food Delivery: Ability to deliver food and drinks to tables in the premium areas and VIP clubs throughout the venue.
  • Experience: Experience working in a fast-paced high-end club, or restaurant preferred.
  • Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Communication: Must be able to read, speak and write English in order to communicate with staff and guests.
  • Schedule: Ability to work all venue events and maintain a flexible schedule to meet service demand levels, including extended hours, days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Environment: Ability to work in an open aired environment during all climate conditions.
  • Punctuality: Must be punctual and dependable.
  • Personal Hygiene: Must maintain personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance in accordance with company and venue standards.
  • Physical Demands: Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant standing, reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time.
  • Lifting: Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.
  • Knowledge: Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette preferred.
  • Listening: Ability to effectively listen and take direction from management.
  • Pressure: Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
  • Health Requirements: Must meet state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage services.
Licenses and Certifications

Required - RAMP certification (can be provided by Legends upon hiring if necessary).
