Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager II to join our team at Partnership HealthPlan of California. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and manage assigned programs, including data entry, tracking, and reporting.
  • Review program data accuracy, completeness, and required submissions.
  • Guide program staff in successful implementation of program activities.
  • Work with Supervisor to manage program budget(s).
  • Monitor system level reports developed for programs and summarize observations and conclusions to make recommendations to leadership.
  • Identify and resolve program issues and concerns in a timely manner with minimal support and recommend solutions to leadership for final decision as necessary.
  • Attend program meetings and follow-up with stakeholders on outstanding deliverables and action items.
  • Plan, coordinate, and facilitate events, conferences, and webinars, as needed.
  • Develop and publish agendas, meeting minutes, and necessary documentation.
  • Facilitate and lead both internal and external meetings.
  • Develop and publish communication/updates to program stakeholders.
  • Oversee the development of stakeholder reports on defined schedule.
  • Communicate program outcomes and potential risks to all levels of leadership.
  • Lead program evaluation and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the successful implementation of new and assigned programs and their associated processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to engage stakeholders.
  • May supervise and provide guidance to staff as assigned.
  • Provide daily support and coaching to program coordinators and partners.
  • Utilize established software, tools, and resources needed for program execution and oversight.
  • Utilize online collaboration applications.
  • Lead user demos, trainings, and setup as needed.
  • Maintain documentation per department specifications.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, or relevant field and at least two years of relevant program management experience required.
  • In lieu of degree, a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience to include a minimum of two (2) years program management experience will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interpret and articulate program requirements to involved stakeholders.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across all levels within the organization.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Strong organization skills with ability to prioritize assignments and manage time effectively.
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, critical thinking skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
  • Adaptable to a continuous changing environment.
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies required.
  • Proficient experience in use of various computer system software including Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, and PowerPoint.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

More than 50% of work time is spent using a computer. Ability to lift, carry, or move objects of varying size, weighting up to 25 lbs. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain courtesy and composure when dealing with internal and external customers. Ability to function effectively with frequent interruptions and direction from multiple team members.

Hiring Range: $93, $117,113.58
