About the Role:

As a Branch Manager II at Umpqua Bank, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, achieving growth goals, and developing store associates. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships, utilizing the full spectrum of banking services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a large-sized store with core deposits above $60 million, or a smaller-sized store with successful Small Business Advisor certification.
  • Originate consumer and small business lending credits up to $250,000.
  • Implement sales and promotional programs to achieve goals and quality standards.
  • Facilitate integrated delivery of financial services and products, including customized lending, cash management, and investment management.
  • Manage the growth activity of the store, including consumer, small business, or both, depending on market opportunity.
  • Manage the selection, placement, performance, development, promotion, and termination of store associates.
  • Coach and mentor associates in learning skills required for their level of role, including technical expertise of consumer and small business lending.
  • Ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and quality standards are met.
About You:
  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience in banking and finance, business, or a related field.
  • 4-7 years of supervisory/management experience in retail banking.
  • Active membership in several community organizations.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Word and Excel software applications, other banking computer systems, and related software.
  • Effective training and mentoring skills.
  • Demonstrated sales skills.
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills to manage staff and customer service issues.
  • Solid understanding of retail services and products, including consumer and small business lending origination experience.
Our Benefits:

We offer a competitive total rewards package, including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this role is $66,250.00 to $95,270.76, and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors.
