Job Summary

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist II to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and healthcare providers.

Responsibilities
  • Competently perform radiology procedures to produce accurate and high-quality images
  • Work independently, exercising sound judgment and clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, families, and healthcare providers through effective communication and patient assessment
  • Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and policies to ensure patient privacy and safety
  • May assist in orienting new staff members to the department
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
  • ARRT-American Register of Radiologic Technologist certification and CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist certification (from the state where work is being performed)
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification
  • RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy certification within 180 days of hire (if required at the affiliate)
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • General knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles, procedures, views, and equipment
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and related information systems
Work Environment

This is a per diem/casual position with variable shift hours and no weekend requirements. The pay range is $44.04 to $55.04 per hour, and the salary range may vary based on location.
