Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement clinical operations strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including performance evaluations, coaching, and mentoring.
- Assist with nurse staffing, including recruitment, retention, and scheduling.
- Develop and manage the nursing department budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and fiscal responsibility.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging staff to identify and implement process improvements.
- Serve as a clinical operational liaison between nursing units and the Director of Nursing, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Registered Nurse/RN license by the State Board of Nursing.
- Minimum 3 years full-time or equivalent clinical experience, with at least 2 years' experience in nursing supervision in the long-term care setting.
- Knowledge of the MDS process, state nurse practice acts, and state and federal regulations.
- A competitive hourly rate of $40.00.
