Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with nurse staffing, including recruitment, retention, and scheduling.
  • Develop and manage the nursing department budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and fiscal responsibility.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging staff to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Serve as a clinical operational liaison between nursing units and the Director of Nursing, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Registered Nurse/RN license by the State Board of Nursing.
  • Minimum 3 years full-time or equivalent clinical experience, with at least 2 years' experience in nursing supervision in the long-term care setting.
  • Knowledge of the MDS process, state nurse practice acts, and state and federal regulations.
