Job Summary

The Part-Time Coordinator II, Outreach position at Lone Star College is responsible for facilitating daily operations within assigned areas. This role involves coordination of support functions such as scheduling, communications, workflows, supplies, information processing, and staff support. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining records, staying up-to-date with current knowledge of assigned areas, and serving as a point of contact for internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily operations of assigned areas, maintain records, and stay current with knowledge of assigned areas.
  • Schedule and prioritize work and activities, organize training materials for staff, and create and submit reports related to assigned areas.
  • Presents findings and makes presentations to internal and external customers, coordinates department and leadership calendars, and schedules meetings, seminars, and events.
  • Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations within assigned areas and monitors and controls resources such as office supplies and equipment.
  • Assists with creating methods of evaluation for assigned areas, analyzes results, and makes recommendations for revisions to objectives and strategies.
  • Takes part in and/or leads special projects as needed and focuses on the student experience in areas such as learning centers, labs, student activities, curriculum, and instruction.

Requirements
  • Associate's degree and at least 3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong attention to accuracy and detail, excellent knowledge of general office and software applications, ability to prepare and analyze reports, and possesses excellent organizational skills.
