Float Pool Registered Nurse RN

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team at Parham Doctors' Hospital. As a Float Pool RN, you will provide clinical and administrative support on various units within the hospital, including ICU, Telemetry, Medical/Surgical, and Behavioral Health. Your primary function will be to instruct and educate patients and their family members, administer medications, and coordinate unit activities.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care and education on various units, including ICU, Telemetry, Medical/Surgical, and Behavioral Health.
- Administer medications and perform various nursing procedures, such as changing dressings and monitoring vital signs.
- Coordinate unit activities and ensure accountability of all assigned tasks.
- Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, including discharge planning needs.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia or has a Compact license.
- Required minimum of three years of acute care experience with demonstrated and proven competency in several specialty areas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
