Role Overview
We are in search of a skilled Lead Engineer with extensive experience in the residential construction sector to become a vital part of our team.

Key Responsibilities

Technical and Financial Management :
Oversee the technical and financial components of project work, ensuring successful outcomes.

Mentorship :
Offer guidance and delegate responsibilities to junior engineers and technicians, aiding in their professional development.

Advanced Analysis and Design :
Conduct intricate engineering analysis and design calculations.

Quality Control :
Review the work of fellow engineers and technicians to uphold high standards.

Business Operations :
Implement business management systems and assist in preparing fee proposals.

Project Oversight :
Manage projects, including invoicing and resource allocation.

Staff Development :
Support the training, evaluation, and management of technical personnel.

Qualifications

Experience :
Minimum of 3 years in the residential construction sector. Experience in a consulting environment is highly advantageous.

Education :
Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Professional Membership :
Chartered or Incorporated Engineer, Member of IStructE, ICE, or another relevant institution.

Skills :
Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and commercial awareness. Proven expertise in engineering design and reporting.
