Duration: 6 Months
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitates and oversees comprehensive training initiatives within the organization.
- Evaluates and reports on the effectiveness of training programs for new hires and ongoing employee development.
- Contributes to the design of training plans and enhancements to existing programs.
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field along with over 7 years of industry experience.
- Possesses familiarity with standard practices and concepts in the field, relying on experience and judgment to achieve objectives.
- Operates under general supervision, typically reporting to a managerial position, with a degree of creativity and independence.
- Responsible for the training and safety of craft personnel.
- Manages a training staff of 3-5 individuals.
- Plans and executes hands-on and classroom training for craft personnel, specifically for overhead lineperson apprentices.
- Acts as a coach and enforcer of safety protocols.
- Delivers training related to overhead lineperson apprenticeships and associated safety/OSHA standards.
- Must have journey-level expertise in overhead lineperson training, with a strong safety record and the ability to build trust and coach teams.
- Preferred experience of 5+ years.
- Possesses journey qualification.
- Basic proficiency in computer applications such as Word, Excel, email, and PowerPoint.
- Coaching capabilities are essential.
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Range: Competitive hourly rate based on qualifications and experience.
