Job Summary

A highly skilled CNC Machinist is required to join our team at James Avery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CAD/CAM and CNC machining, with experience in developing fixturing and tooling for small parts.

Key Responsibilities

* Operate CNC equipment, including mills, lathes, and drill presses, to build tooling for assembly of jewelry and plastic injection molding.

* Create 3D CAD models and use CAM software to generate toolpaths for CNC machining.

* Work with minimal supervision and limited detailed drawings or blueprints to complete projects from CAD to part, including inspection.

Requirements

* High School Diploma or equivalent.

* 5 years of CAD experience in developing machined components and 5 years of experience in CNC machining process development.

* Strong mechanical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills, and good verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

* Associate degree in machining technology or equivalent experience.

* Expertise in Fusion360 CAM Software and Solidworks CAD Software.

* Experience in Solidworks PDM software and Plastic Injection Molding.

* EDM programming and operation experience.
